An original hand-painted artwork on recycled CDs, The Niyal & Nujari explores the duality between fiery force and luminous fertility.

Here, the circle becomes a sacred space: on one side, the ancestral fire; on the other, golden germination. Two complementary energies linked by the cycle of life.

🔥 Side A – The Niyal • The Breath of Fire

In each flame, the ancient echo of desert songs vibrates.

The Niyal watches over the drops of light, a silent guardian of the glowing lands.

Its breath ignites the memory of the dunes and awakens the forces buried beneath the day's heat.

The reflections on the disc amplify the depth of the reds and golds, giving the impression of a living, almost moving fire.

The Niyal symbolizes power, protection, and primal energy.

🌼 Side B – Nujari • The Eye of Pollen

Around a golden light, the petals beat like secret hearts.

Nujari watches over the fertile dance of life, like an ancestral spirit.

Each nuance becomes germination, each circle a silent promise connecting earth, light, and rebirth.

Depending on the angle, the iridescent reflections evoke pollen carried by the wind.

Nujari embodies creative fertility, gentle abundance, and the continuity of the cycle.

This piece is created from a recordable CD originally destined for disposal, carefully cleaned and transformed through an artistic upcycling process.

Instead of becoming waste, the disc becomes a surface for expression. Its unique metallic reflections make each piece truly one of a kind.

In my studio in Jouy-en-Josas, France, I give forgotten materials a second life, integrating them into a contemporary recycled art practice.
