Mohani & Zéphi is a unique artistic creation made on a recycled CD, transformed into a contemporary art medium.

Conceived as a breath between water and air, this work explores two fluid and complementary forces: the depth of the tides and the lightness of breath. The disc becomes a circular space where the elements converse.

🌊 Side A – Mohani • Guardian of the Tides

Born from the breath of the waves and the light of the corals, Mohani watches over the visible and invisible worlds.

Her gaze whispers the dance of the water, the memory of the wind, and the secrets the ocean entrusts to the light.

Each nuance she wears is a passage, a vibration born from the movement of the tides.

The iridescent reflections of the CD amplify this aquatic sensation, subtly changing depending on the angle of view.

🌬️ Side B – Zephi • Messenger of Breath

No one knows if Zephi belongs to the wind or to the light.

He appears where silence stirs, bearing an ancient secret that only the heart can recognize.

His passage leaves a subtle trace, like a breath of dawn slipped between two worlds.

This side invites gentle, almost ethereal contemplation, where each color seems to breathe.

This piece is created from a recordable CD originally destined for disposal, carefully cleaned and transformed through an artistic upcycling process.

Instead of becoming waste, the disc becomes a surface for expression. Its unique metallic reflections make each piece truly one of a kind.

In my studio in Jouy-en-Josas, France, I give forgotten materials a second life, integrating them into a contemporary recycled art practice.
