Aries & Orwyn is a unique artwork created on a recycled CD, transformed into a contemporary art medium.

Conceived as a disc of transformation, this work explores two complementary movements: flamboyant rebirth and silent revelation. Light and mist converse through the circularity of the medium.

🔥 Face A – Aries • The Golden Phoenix

In the deep night, Aries is reborn as a celestial phoenix, carrying in its flames the impulse of renewal.

Its golden fleece becomes eternal light, a radiance that does not consume but reveals the hidden paths of the heavens.

The iridescent reflections of the disc extend this vibrant, solar energy.

Each glimmer is an ascension, each vibration a breath of rebirth.

🌫️ Side B – Orwyn • The Key to the Mists

Orwyn slowly turns in the hands of initiates, revealing secret passages hidden within the mists.

Each painted circle becomes a doorway, each color a breath of light guiding toward the unseen.

A silent guardian, weaving pathways that only attentive hearts can perceive.

Depending on the angle of light, the artwork reveals subtle nuances and shifts in expression.

♻️ An Upcycled CD-R Art Creation

This piece is created from a recordable CD originally destined for disposal, carefully cleaned and transformed through an artistic upcycling process.

Instead of becoming waste, the disc becomes a surface for expression. Its unique metallic reflections make each piece truly one of a kind.

In my studio in Jouy-en-Josas, France, I give forgotten materials a second life, integrating them into a contemporary recycled art practice.
