Neyla & Lunvia is a unique artwork created on a recycled CD, transformed into a medium for contemporary art.

Conceived as a celebration of light, this work explores two intensities of fire: the sun's zenithal brilliance and the vibrant warmth of dawn. Two faces of the same energy, revealed by the circular motion of the disc.

🌼 Side A – Neyla • The Day's Crown

Neyla blossoms when the sun reaches its zenith, weaving its petals in the burning air like an offering of light. Each motif becomes a solar radiance, each hue a song meant to dispel the shadows.

The iridescent reflections of the CD extend this luminous intensity, creating a sensation of vibrant radiance.

🌺 Side B – Lunvia • The Flower of Fire

Lunvia opens at daybreak, its petals vibrating to the rhythm of ancient drums.

Each color becomes an offering, each circle a memory etched in the nascent light.

More ardent, more profound, this side reveals an ancestral energy.

Depending on the lighting, the record seems to ignite gently, like a breath from a distant time.

This piece is created from a recordable CD originally destined for disposal, carefully cleaned and transformed through an artistic upcycling process.

Instead of becoming waste, the disc becomes a surface for expression. Its unique metallic reflections make each piece truly one of a kind.

In my studio in Jouy-en-Josas, France, I give forgotten materials a second life, integrating them into a contemporary recycled art practice.
