Zyphra / Anther is a unique contemporary artwork painted on a recycled CD, transforming a former music medium into a circular art object.
This double-sided acrylic painting explores symbolism, renewal and energetic cycles. The disc becomes a living surface where color vibration echoes its original sonic memory.
Side A — Zyphra, The Primordial Eye
A radiant core emerges from the center.
The circular composition evokes a contemporary mandala where organic energy appears to breathe beneath the dark surface.
Side B — Anther, The First Guardian
Anther symbolizes awakening and transformation.
Light rises from shadow, suggesting rebirth and transition.
Artistic approach
This piece belongs to an upcycled art practice, giving new life to discarded music media.
Each artwork is entirely hand-painted and unique, inspired by circular movement and natural energy cycles.
