Original hand-painted work on recycled CD, Auréis & Solrane explores the birth of light and the momentum that sets the universe in motion.

Two complementary forces dialogue: the dawn that illuminates and renews, and the golden thread that connects the stars to the souls.

The circle of the disc becomes a symbol of cycle, passage and awakening.

🌅 Face A – Auréis • The Dawn of Eternity

Auréis is the light born from the first ray of the day, the pure radiance that drives away darkness and awakens souls.

She embodies the eternal dawn, the spirit of illumination that guides each cycle of time.

Its clarity opens the paths of lost travelers, bringing renewal, breath and vision.

The iridescent reflections of the CD amplify this sensation of light awakening, subtly varying according to the angle of light.

Auréis symbolizes rebirth, inner vision and hope.

✨ Face B – Solrane • The Golden Elk between the Spheres

In the between worlds, where light becomes breath, flows Solrane.

Neither flame nor wind, it is the passage from one to another, the golden thread connecting the stars to the souls.

Stellar travelers invoke her name when the road falters, because Solrane does not just light: she sets the world in motion.

Under the light, the disc reveals vibrant shades evoking the energy of the passage and the cosmic bond.

Solrane embodies movement, connection and vital momentum.

This piece is created from a recordable CD originally destined for disposal, carefully cleaned and transformed through an artistic upcycling process.

Instead of becoming waste, the disc becomes a surface for expression. Its unique metallic reflections make each piece truly one of a kind.

In my studio in Jouy-en-Josas, France, I give forgotten materials a second life, integrating them into a contemporary recycled art practice.
