An original hand-painted artwork on recycled CDs, Yaku & Zyori explores the fluid, intuitive, and enveloping energy of water.

Here, the circle transforms into a wave, a ripple, a pearl, and a breath.

Two complementary sides, united by the sea breeze and the bluish vibration of life.

🌊 Side A – Yaku • Breath of Foam

Like a sea flower frozen in time, Yaku vibrates with an ancestral breath from the depths.

Its points stretch toward the invisible, like seaweed dancing beneath the surface.

Each shade carries within it the memory of water, an echo of foam sculpted by the sea.

Depending on the light, the reflections on the disc evoke the shimmering of a wave in the sunlight.

Yaku symbolizes intuition, fluidity, and connection to deep emotions.

💙 Side B – Zyori • The Song of Blue Pearls

Like a sacred breath, the vibrant circles open in unison in a dance of echoes and light.

Each point crystallizes into a pearl in the silence of the world, a memory of water suspended between wave and eternity.

Zyori sings of the depths and watches over the blue secrets that connect the wave to life.

This side invites calm, contemplation, and gentle grounding.

This piece is created from a recordable CD originally destined for disposal, carefully cleaned and transformed through an artistic upcycling process.

Instead of becoming waste, the disc becomes a surface for expression. Its unique metallic reflections make each piece truly one of a kind.

In my studio in Jouy-en-Josas, France, I give forgotten materials a second life, integrating them into a contemporary recycled art practice.
